Never used Massdrop before, but the deal on OSB trench boots is pretty decent if they get a few more people to commit. Was $426, would be $340 if enough commit. Choice of soles.

I heard that massdrop group buy is a clearance event so no returns.

JL Powell Newport boat shoes on sale for $99. Someone on SF says they're made by Rancourt. I'm not big on boat shoes but at this price I'm tempted to try them out this summer...

              Also these mocs for $79:

Not sure if these are Rancourt as well.

No, shipping isn't added until checkout. Maybe the listed price is just not correct.

I couldn't resist, bought a pair. I tried a pair of Sebago boat shoes a little while ago and didn't care for them, mostly because the leather was very stiff and I sized down when I shouldn't have. With Chromexcel leather I'm hoping these are much more comfortable. I might replace the laces with brown ones to mix it up a bit.

Well, I didn't really "need" these at all, but for $99 why not?

                          Great find!

The white and grey roughout ones look great too...but I doubt I'd be doing any real hiking in these, and the tan suede would fit into my everyday wardrobe better.

agreed, the grey/white is just a little too out there and i can't see myself in them
