I figure the navy would look good with pretty much any color blazer. And yes, the burgundy works great with a navy or charcoal or even black suit.

And pratyk, if your deciding between burgundy and brown, I'd choose burgundy for sure. Nothing wrong with brown, but burgundy looks great with a navy suit (see Shomas' point above), and personally that's my favorite color to throw onto a somewhat neutral blues/whites/greys/browns kinda canvas. I think you'd find that it will look great with any and all of those three suits you noted having.

However, I do also often wear ties that are dominantly navy (albeit patterned) with a navy suit. While it's a little heavy on the navy at times, I'm alright with it. Granted, a solid navy grenadine could intensify the monochrome-ness of the whole thing, but I've got several patterned shirts I can throw together with it to keep it in check. I'll let you know if I'm wrong about that when the time comes!

I really like that burgundy grenadine, but I've already got a burgundy silk so I'm thinking of passing. My second favorite is the brown, but I currently don't own any grenadines so I'm open to suggestion. While I do own a navy suit, I tend to wear my grey because it fits better. My sport coat collection is a bit of a rainbow, though. Thoughts?

Some of the J Press stuff (not just York St) is now at 75% off as well. Here's a tan Harrington jacket for less than $100 that is still available in most sizes. I've read that this is not the Barracuta version but Greenfell which is supposed to be a better material. But who really know.
