Sorry, my fault for being vague -- same sizing? YOOX has no sizing data. I looked at eBay for measurements but it's unclear what recent Lubiam (not 1911) would be.

Fred, who else might these be made by? I looked up C&J's suede shoes and they have a similar looking shoe in an oxford, not a blucher. I know these makers differentiate their own lines from their third-party stuff, so it's likely them, but at the $750 we're looking at something better than Grenson, no? I'm just excited at the prospect of owning a really fine pair of shoes...

BB, gyasih over on SF already got his and posted them. (Mine arrive tomorrow.) The writing on the inside looks like it matches the writing on the inside of my Marlows so I'm pretty sure this confirms that they are made by C&J.

over in Reddit, Rancourt is the one manufactured the RL blaksdale boat chukka. But Rancourt will not resole them. How are the sizing of the boat shoes? are they the same size as boots' size?

Wasn't sure on the sizing since the site says they're TTS and so does MrPorter. The problem is that eastdane has the sizing listed in US while MrPorter has it listed in UK sizes. Which makes me a US9 on 1 site and a US8.5 on the other. Doesn't matter since the shoe was only in stock in an 8.5 so not much of a choice to be made by me.

I'm always tempted by chukkas but I already have too many of those.
