Those are the ones I would have purchased as well but even though my size is listed there, once you select it, it says it's out of stock. There are no returns on those drivers. It says they are final sale.

If we learned anything from Mr.Porter sales (or any ridiculously great sales), it is buy first ask questions later. I will have to admit I didn't even read the description of the shoes after seeing those prices.

It's interesting to see the difference in design as you look at the different periods. I remember seeing an article that broke down the differences in quality and suppliers for the different years somewhere. Off to look for that again. If I find it I'll post in the main clothing forum and tag ya.
Can't find that seller ID on ebay.

I was reading the thread by dackman and someone mentioned last years fall/winter outerwear extravaganza post over on the main site. I pulled it up as a reference and read about someone ebaying a nice USGI sterlingwear peacoat. Well, he linked the seller so I 'HAD TO' check current the current inventory. then i found this vintage WWII 10 button peacoat in mint condition.

    *DISCLAIMER*

if you look at the sellers other listings you can see the difference in the construction of the older model vs the shoulder seam on the gulf war era. the craftsmanship just isn't the same.

someone buy this so i don't have to see it.
Holy sweetness. I'm not on a buying freeze... who's the seller?
