Beckman available in some sizes for $200 ($160 after 20% off code). Somehow I'm going to avoid buying either these or the Daltons, I really don't need more boots.

I wound up buying some Saphir spray and shoe trees from http://afinepairofshoes.co.uk/ after reading about the company in Fred's posts.

Here's a good deal for anyone who happens to be a large or small size: Herring's Camberwell Chelsea boots are on sale for $161. I'm pretty sure that they're made by Barker.

Saw this on SF, Crockett & Jones Tan plain-toe derby and burgundy wingtip, $483 each. Not sure if the belt in the picture comes with it (guessing no):

Wear slim straight fitting jeans that are cuffed or hemmed. Also, Vicious I hate you for being able to wear these. If they were a size 10 I would have found a way to pay for an absolutely unnecessary (but gorgeous) addition to my burgeoning shoe collection. Apologies to your wife
Edit: Well they're sold out. Did you get the last pair?

Certain part of the world aren't that fond of chukkas (I learned that from reading SF), but I personally love them. They are extremely versatile. I usually wear them with chinos or dark denim.
LosRockets - We'll see what they look like in person. I normally would pass on them but have heard nothing but good things about Ron Riders shoes. Of course this means the Malverns go up for sale to pay for part of this purchase

You got them! Please put up photos regardless of whether you choose to keep or return the Riders. I too have heard nothing but good things about these shoes and obsessively check his website to see if there's anything in my size. I'm still very happy with my suede Malverns, I can see why you favor the Loakes because of the sleeker look, but for the $100 I paid for them I cannot imagine a better return on the value and wear them quite a bit (and they still look brand new).

I think I paid a bit more than $100 for my Malverns at the time and the Loakes cost me $200 at the 50% off price I paid for them. I'm finding that for my foot there's lots of other shoes that fit me slightly better than AE's. P
