Any idea how the sizing works? I am confused by their sizing chart (http://www.ctshirts.com/Formal-shirt...=sizing-guides). Specifically, why is the slimmest chest measurement 40 inches? That seems... wrong. As does the waist measurement of 37 inches. For comparison, I have bought MTM shirts from Biased Cut with 34 inch chest and 30 inch waist. Am I just not a big enough dude for Charles Tyrwhitt or am I misunderstanding their measurements? Any experience on fit/sizing?
all i know is the CT shirts have exactly what ive been looking for. Actual slim fit, without being TOO tight, and correct measurements for arm length and neck, and they actually feel tremendously well made. On sale, they are a great investment. I think im goin to pick up another while they are at 39.99.
Thanks for the heads up on the CT shirt, I did it with a visa and it worked. Great timing as I was about to buy a shirt with the shipping for $50, now I got a shirt and tie for $40!
I'm a pretty big fan of the Tailored fit CT shirt that I ordered a month ago(yet to wear it, as I don't frequently have the occasion to wear cufflinked shirts, but the fit is superb). It's equivalent, as noted previously in this thread, to the Brooks Bros Extra Slim fit.
That's a great deal. I think I'm gonna jump on it. Anyone have any experience with CT tailored fit "business casual" shirts? whats the difference between dress and business casual for a white shirt?
