Are there any currently working LE or LEC codes? I'm on their email list but haven't received anything from them in quite a while.

I checked before I posted- I couldn't find any. Remember - codes won't work on AE products.

AE Walnut Strands in D sizing for $200 at Amazon with code. Sign up for the newsletter and you get a 20% off coupon code. Some people report being able to exchange shoes at AE stores despite not having purchased directly from AE. If I was employed these would already be on the way to my house.

30% off plus free ladies watch if you spend at least $150 at Orient. Used it to get myself a Mako, and my girl her Valentines day gift. This is the watch I got for free for her, in case you're wondering what kind of stuff they have for that: http://orientwatchusa.com/nrah009w

Looks like its not just the Strands on sale. 5th Aves are $262 in Black and Walnut now @ Amazon

I'd hold off on buying 5th Aves @ $262 (unless you mean that's before the 20% off). I grabbed a pair of dark brown ones (really it's the color you want for such a conservative shoe) for $200 on Amazon back in October-November.

                      L.L. Bean wool tie - $9.99

I purchased this tie back in December. It is an amazing tie for the price. The one review comments on the fabric blend, and says that it is not wool. However the one I received definitely is.

I'm always so tempted by the Weekender Groupon offers but I never pull the trigger because of the ticking sound reports that seem to bother so many people. :/

That ticking sound does get annoying after a while. Timex's are the only watches I've owned that tick like that.

I've owned three (*current*) Timexes in the past couple of years:
                            • a larger black-faced EZ reader, on black leather (I liked the larger 12/3/6/9 numerals, but the face overall looked too big on me)
                            • a cream-faced weekender on olive canvas slip-thru
                            • a grey-(almost gunmetal-blue) faced elevated classics one on cognac croc-style leather

I liked that last one the most of the three. Here's a pic:

However, I no longer own any of them. The ticking drove me nuts. Kinda like the clock on the kitchen wall is doing right about now. Maybe I should put some music on.

I wonder if it's their legacy marketing that just won't go away: "It takes a licking, and keeps on ticking."

Hickey Freeman, now an additional 25% off clearance stuff.

For sportcoats and suits, I believe the Mahogany collection is fully canvassed and the Sterling is half-canvassed, but I'm not 100% sure of that. Also, in my experience their dress shirts shrink quite a bit. Really nice fabrics, but I had a couple that fit great and then once laundered were an inch too short in the sleeves. Oh well.

Charles Tyrwhitt has an insert in the WSJ. Shirts for $39.50 shipped free if you browse at www.ctshirts.com/ss41.

The insert states it is only good for 10 days, though I'm not sure if they'll stick to that. Yes, the shirt + tie for $39.50 is a better deal, but that only happens a couple of times a year. Anyway, thought I would pass it along.
