    Too bad I didn't know about this Jcrew sale earlier.

    38R is sold out.. Promised myself I would buy it whenever it was on sale

      Fyi: I took a look at this year's factory herringbone sport coat and it's poorly constructed. The weave of the fabric was so loose in the back that I could see light through holes when I held it up.

        ag101...the 38r is still in stock from what I can see.

          The Nordstrom Calibrate V-Neck that has been mentioned on the site is on sale right for $30. Good colors but doesn't look like any sizes other than L, XL, and XXL

              Barneys Warehouse sale continues with some ridiculous deals. They keep marking prices down, so an item that was $250 last week may be $125 this week. Selection has dropped a lot in the last day, but it's worth a look. Here's a shoe that I got last week. Very well made, soft leather. And it's less than a comparable Johnston Murphy. The Jack Spade bifold is down to $30. A dressed-up sweatpant for $20. And something insanely awesome that you'd never buy -- like this is actually within the realm of possibility (though still expensive).

                No idea about the quality of their house brand, but these single monks look pretty good.

                  @mrusso - I might have to go exceed this month's budget for the Neumora's at $179.

                  @Irish - I'm a fan of these chukkas

                      I bought the light gray tweed one from JCF. It arrived today. I think I'm probably going to send it back, as I bought it before the sale to check out the sizing. It's very nice for the price, and I love the look of it, but even though the fit's reasonably slim, I find it... too bulky, even for a tweed sport coat. It looked great on Joe, but on me, over a sweater and an oxford, I feel more like I'm in a winter coat than anything else.

                          Urban Outfitters is having a huge summer sale. And you can get an additional 10% and free shipping with a web coupon.

                          Lots of crap but some decent stuff like Hawkings McGill chukka boots, Clarks, 513 levi's, GA blazers, etc...

                          Might be worth a look.

                              Just got word from Sperry that they are offering the readers of Bowties & Boathshoes 20% off on the Ranger Mocs we profiled yesterday until midnight tomorrow. Makes them $76 when you use the code BOWTIES.

                                Lands End Canvas has their straight fit Elston Chinos on the "classifieds" sale section in Charcoal, Plum, and light or dark khaki for $8.50. From my experience, the "straight fit" from LEC is still fairly slim. It's definitely more slim in the legs/hem than Bonobos, for example.

                                I went through a link on an email I received today and got free shipping, too. They have 3-5 sizes left in each color. Take a peak.

                                And yes, you read that correctly. $8.50. I wish they'd had my size in more colors...
