Black Friday / Cyber Monday master thread

I thought this might be a good spot to compile any upcoming Black Friday and Cyber Monday style-related sales that people might be looking for. It's about a month away and stores are starting to release (or leak) what their sales are going to be.

Tommy Hilfiger (B&M retail locations, I'm assuming. Maybe online.):

    40% off entire store

Additional 15%, 20$ or 25% off is possible if you bring coupons. I don't know if they allow you to print a scanned image from online or if you need an original. And I don't know where to find originals.

    Original ad scan

Should be renamed to the massive debt creation thread!

in all seriousness please sticky this OPS.

And this might be a decent place for everyone to look

@shad0w4life: I swear by, too. It's where I found the TH deal above. Unfortunately, it's mostly geared towards Christmas shopping - toys, tech, etc. I figure that if we can skim through it and post the gems here, we can save a lot of headaches for a lot of people.

          Macy's (in-store):

Geoffrey Beene and Perry Ellis Mens Belts/Wallets/Cufflinks/Shave Kits - $17.99

They're simple, but they do the job. Pics online even show a perry Ellis belt in walnut for those people looking for that hard-to-fine color.

          4-pack Gold Toe Patterned Dress Socks - $10 doorbuster ($12-15 after 1pm)

They're dress socks. And they're cheap.

          Lauren Vested Suits - $200 doorbuster ($270 after 1pm)

It's a 3-piece wool suit for $200. I haven't personally tried one on, but it's a 3-piece wool suit for $200. They do have a handful of slim fits so that's a plus.

Mens Clearance Dress & Casual Shoes (Reg. $60-$140) - 65% off

Perhaps it's worth a look, but if I'm being honest, I've been incredibly underwhelmed with Macy's selection of shoes.

Unless otherwise stated, deals are for Friday, November 23.

              Banana Republic:

Nothing is formally announced yet, but here is where it looks like they're going to do it:

I'm expecting store-wide sales in the 40% range. What I'm HOPING for, but don't know for sure is whether or not this will include shoes, suits and blazers. Otherwise, it's just like any of their other sales, and that's pretty boring.

By the way, Macys' opfficial Black Friday page is here:

There's nothing on it yet, though. Everything mentioned above has been pulled from hard-copy ad scans.

The official Black Friday page is here (and still empty):

I approve of this thread. As someone who has been venturing out into the Black Friday insanity since he was 13 years old (and yes, even in this age of technology and the internet, I do it as well), I'll be keeping an eye on it and hopefully sharing information with the rest of you all.

That said, with money being a bit tighter than usual I don't have much in the way of specifics that I'm looking for. However, with my birthday the week before Christmas, using that money I'll be getting towards one of those wool suits is looking like an option.

Ditto, Zack. I do most of my shopping online, but I'm a certified Black Friday Conqueror. I've been known to hit the outlet mall at midnight and to rapid fire through 6 or 7 stores at a time. :-)

And to keep this thread clean, let's keep the content restricted to discussing the specific deals. Save product reviews of deal items for their own threads (unless a certain product is a MAJOR fail and should be avoided).

Really hoping for indochino/suitsupply/black lapel to have a special. I imagine indochino will do the %30 off

SIDE NOTE: Regardless of where anyone plans on shopping, check their websites BEFORE you hit the store. they may carry the same thing for the same price, and it'll save you a trip. In fact, check at midnight before you hit the sack. It might also save you the heartbreak of finding a brick-and-mortar store is sold out.

JC Penny will have happy socks for $4 a pair (usually $8) on black friday. Not a bad pick up if you need some socks.
