I also picked a pair of the Brooks Alden ptbs in brown size 11D. Unfortunately, they fit just a little too big for me. If they would have had a 10.5D I would've been set but the 11s were one of the last few sizes they had available (I'm ideally an 11C). If anyone is interested in these I'd be willing to sell them for what I paid ($161) plus the cost of shipping. Just thought I would try to pass on the deal here before either sending them back to BB or putting them up on ebay.

Also, I know it's a long shot but if anyone happens to have a pair of these in 10.5D and needs an 11, I'd be interested in a trade!

Someone is trying to flip them, but Im just curious, was I suppose to get shoe bags? (Didn't get no shoe bags *sour)
I ordered two pairs and neither came with shoe bags. One of the pairs had only one shoe stuffed with tissue, the other one didn't have any tissue in it at all, lol. The boxes looked old and dusty, too. Unacceptable if I had paid the $500 retail, but can't complain at $150.

That being said, I wore mine yesterday and they felt and looked great, no break-in needed (I sized down 1/2 size from my AE size).

I have a pair of those boots, owned them for probably 4-5 years. You'll love them, they're indestructible.

Yeah I saw that earlier today and was tempted to write something really snarky like "Don't worry, we know they're firsts. We all saw them on sale for $150 last week at Brooks Brothers." because that guy has almost 0 post history on SF.
