Hi, I will be travelling to Chi next week and I wondered if anybody could point me to some stores w sales for some suits shoes etc...I will be visiting the usual suspects JC, BR...thanks

As a Chicagoan, I entered this thread thinking it was going to be an awesome list of deals in the city. Instead, I am leaving in the warm embrace of disappointment. -
We have a suit supply retail store, but it does not really have any "deals" that you can't get online. You will find all of the ususal suspects of JC and BR on Michigan Ave (for what its worth, the BR on Mich tends to have a good selection of stuff on the sale racks) There are multiple Macy's in the loop and it is always worth taking a look at. Also, there is a Nordstrom Rack located on State street which might work.
There are a couple of JCrew Factory stores in the Chicagoland area, but not downtown.Comment
