Any thoughts on how these prices compare to the Nordstrom anniversary sale? Been wanting a pair of the McAllisters. Appreciate any input!

Notes on Seconds (just got a list from the outlet):

      Jefferson - $279
      Mcallister - $200
New Rough (lake shore drive, rush street, e.t.c.) - $200
      University - $200
      Lexington seconds - $200
      Mora 2.0 - $169
      Rye NY - $159
      Voyager - $159

I want someone (else) to get the rush street and do a review - I want to like it (it's a casual rubber-soled strand in chromexcel), but I have a feeling the contrast welt will be off / the color will be too light.

The nordstrom anniversary sale gets close to those prices, but the classics (strand, mcallister, park / fifth ave) usually dip down to $229-ish. That said, it'll only be one of the classics, there's no way to know which one, and there's no guarantee that all colors will do that dip. If you want a walnut or black mcallister, you might be better waiting. If you want brown / bourbon / merlot (popular colors that don't go on sale often), I'd just get 'em. Of course, if the $30 difference is enough to give you pause, you can score seconds for $200 right now.

Keep in mind that AE recently just increased their prices.

Never seen double monks go this low from AE ($180 shipped!). Couldn't help myself and ordered Moras in brown burnished. I'm all kinds of excited.

The first time I saw it was during this year's 2 for $250 (in Feb?). I too am glad they have it.

Anyone know how often the 2 for $250 deal happens each year? Wondering if I should wait for that or go ahead and jump on one of these current deals on seconds.
