I grabbed a pair of Bruno Maglis, 2 Magli Belts, the green and blue striped Dundee cardigan (love it), boss slim fit blue gingham (hate it), and two varvatos dress slacks (pleased but we'll see -at the tailors now)

@Kenneth, I think I might like those JV sunglasses more, great shape.
I think I should go find something else to do, if I keep looking at this jacket I may end up buying it.
Edit: nevermind, that jacket is sold out in my size. Phew.

Not sure about that jacket.. it doesn't seem to have much shape to it... Reminds me of one of those jacket / robes that football players throw over their shoulder pads on the sidelines..
sometimes when I look at big ticket items, I get blinded by what the original price was, and stop being as objective as I should..
Every time I see this swear: http://www.cladmen.com/on-sale/tweed-sweater.html I fall more in love with it. God, that's a good looking garment. $100 on sale is pretty dang steep though.
@Alan - I'm the same way about some stuff. I could never see paying real money for a belt, for example.
Clad is a regular gold mine right now.
@trash: I love shooting jackets, but I've never seen one so elaborate as that one. I'm also more used to seeing the sport coat variety - not this heavy jacket style. I'd definitely wear it without the collar. It would look even slicker if they'd built in the pockets above the belt instead of making them patches. I love how it says "Cartridge pockets are roomy enough for a small pheasant"... as if anyone is going to put a dead bird in the pocket of their $750 jacket.

Don't spend $100 on cashmere sweaters. Buy Alan Paine, Balantyne, etc. off eBay for $50-75. Vintage cashmere is better than anything under $500 new.

Yeah, if I had budget money, I'd buy it. It's the only thing stopping me.
It checks all my boxes. Tab lapel closure? Check. Tweed? Check. Grey or brown? Check. Cartridge pockets? Check. Elbow patches (optional)? Check. Single vented? Check. You know... In case you have to mount a horse. :-P And double cartridge breast pockets. You don't see that every day.
Yeah, my shell AE's blew my spending money too, and it ends before my eBay auctions do, so oh well. It's a really cool piece though, but I'd rather have my shoes :)
JC - if it helps or hurts, I think it looks gorgeous in each of the closeups, but the overall photo...Something lacking. I just don't dig how the pockets stack with each other. Nothing looks good laying flat, but that's my impression.
@Killabee - Given that I've just purchased 2 pairs of shoes(Air Colton, AE Strand), I won't be upset if you decide to keep them! Haha. I hope they fit you, those are gorgeous shoes for a great price. Also, about what size are you upper body wise? I'm curious as to the fit of the Boss Black shirts.
