Woooooaaaahhhh...
I was expecting some green plaid or something. Those won't even look good on St. Paddy's Day.

Just got that email and thought the same thing. Hilarious.

I don't know about jump the shark, as they've always had a few out-there FU pants, but I was kind of hoping for a better option for St Paddy's... maybe a bright irish green, green plaid or critter pants with shamrocks.
That being said, I'm sure these would be great for a U2 concert as well.

I would, however, buy up that all-purple suit in a heartbeat if they ever had it in my size for an appropriate price.

I prefer the Photosynthepants: http://www.bonobos.com/leaves-pant-straightleg

They had some covered in Shamrocks last year. They were... interesting.
But speaking of st.paddy's outfits, I'm thinking about buying this tie: http://www.bonobos.com/celtic-green It's expensive but I have a fancy St. Patrick's day Gala thing to go to in DC and it's the only "festive" but tasteful tie I could find.
Would it look good with a light brown suit?

Wow those pants are crazy. I do like the time though and the white polo with the shamrock is awesome.

By the way, any good Bonobos codes out there?

Hey guys, I think I just finalized my St Patrick's day outfit, now I can look like I've been puked on even before the binge drinking
Posted 3 months ago # -
Wow. You actually have to TRY to make a combination that bad. It's just not natural...

I just don't get who would buy $118 pants that you will wear once. Go-to-hell pants that are solid green (or solid orange if you're Protestant Irish like me :) ) are at least SLIGHTLY more versatile.

Haha, trash, you picked some good ones!
The difference between these and the Indochino shirts is the fun factor. You wear GTH pants to be fun and outrageous! I wouldn't spend $150 to do that, but clearly there is a market for it. It gets them a lot of good-natured free press.

I don't understand...
Wh- Why are they doing this?
Posted 3 months ago # -
add the cole haan shoes from the other thread!!!!
Posted 3 months ago # -
The sad thing is that a lot of people on their facebook group are completely going crazy over how much they love those..
Just straight ugly to me..

The Photosynthepants are easily the most anti-fashion. I thought the Irish pants were fun.

HAHA after clicking on all these links my Bonobos "targeted" ads are all images of these hideous pants.
They are following me all over the internet!!

And speaking of....

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

Agreed. What is Bonobos thinking. What ever they are smoking in the NYC office I wish they would share because you need to be high to like the tear-aways.

Bonobos has just initiated its first foray into the lucrative male stripper market.

These are marketing tools, and they're working exactly as planned.

Hahaha I was just thinking of this thread after the email came
Posted 2 months ago # -
I... kinda want those tear aways. haha I work in an athletic job and this would save me from having to change in the bathroom before teaching a class. I could just wear shorts underneath and they would look normalish. Plus the reveal would be pretty fantastic. BAM! lol

They had tear-aways last year too. I think they're hilarious. I won't buy them or need them, but I think it's a pretty fun idea.

I would love to show off those pants!! Shortens my one minute bedroom endurance down to 45 seconds!
Posted 2 months ago # -
nicholascrawford, I think that we're going to need an explanation after that one.
Posted 2 months ago # -
Haha, I meant half of my stamina is caught up in the time it takes to take my pants off. =)
