For less than the price of DSW house brand monk straps, you could have some English-made shoes that appear to be rebranded Alfred Sargents. It's the same brand (Poulsen, Skone, & Co) as the wingtips I just received from the same seller, and I love mine.
There's also another pair available in black, though I expect they'll get less attention in this forum.

I'm having trouble find some brown lace ups, size 8.5 wide, that could be worm with a suit. I really hate wingtips (weird, I know) and pointy shoes. I prefer something plain, not a lot of detailing, classic look, in a dark/chocolate brown (not reddish brown). So far I've found nothing.
@Aedan: I don't know what your budget is, but I found these:
They're pricier than a lot of auctions, but they're basically new. And they're still quite a bit off retail price.

Thoughts on these shoes. Please keep aside the bias of black shoes, I wouldn't be posting this if I weren't up for black shoes.
I'd like dappered readers thoughts, concerns, picture's comments, quality of shoes, and any experience with them. Do they run true to size? Do they look worth bidding on? I feel like with the 3 day return policy, and if I cop em at a decent price, they certainly should be worth it.
Ferragamo makes good shoes and the uppers look to be in very good shape. The soles are a bit worn but should last a while. If you like them they look like a good buy.
Not feeling those. The Bass x McNairy blue boat shoes look much nicer IMO

Just a tad too small for me. They might even fit after having been broken in, but I can't risk it:
They've seen better days, but for 99 cents for an auction that ends in 10 hours... Not bad at all. And the cosmetic condition on top doesn't look like anything that can't be restored.
FWIW, the shoe mentioned in the auction has some sort of red foam sole. When I looked it up online, they now sam to make it with a leather sole. The leather soled version goes for $335-360. If they were guaranteed to fit me, I'd bite. They're worth the few bucks to find out if they'll work or not.
AE recrafting should take care of it
