Pumped Up Kicks: New Alden Cape Cod Loafers

After having a look at the most recent GQ cover.. I decided it was time to get serious about a pair of loafers for the summer:

The Churches he's rocking are north of $500, so I opted for a new pair of Alden's. Pulled the trigger today:

Now for the rest of the outfit:

    Slim Fit Navy Chinos: Check...
    Windowpane Shirt: Check...
    Understated Tie Bar: Check...

Really beautiful. I need a pair of beefrolls, but want a contrast sole. Would kill for the oak streets but they fit me really sloppy Maybe rancourt, or a cheaper training wheel alternative. Gorgeous though

Nice! I was eyeing a nearly identical looking suede pair last week. I don't feel like digging through Alden's (crappy) website to see if they are the exact same shoe or not, but I was tempted.

I'm going back and forth between the Alden's, Oak Street, and Rancourt... Rancourt has the advantage of price, and if you catch a sale, they will be half of Alden, but I haven't found them in person in a store to try them on.

Where, pray tell, does one catch a rancourt sale usually?

Any budget friendly (<100$) options that look similar to those Church's / Aldens?

Perhaps a pair of florsheim berkleys? Own a pair myself. Look great.
