    New Wayfarer Alternatives?

After losing my last pair of $70+ Ray-Ban New Wayfarers, I'm not in a huge hurry to run off and buy another name-brand pair of sunglasses. Has anyone ever come across a reliable "lookalike"? I have found plenty of original Wayfarer-style sunglasses all over the place, but the look is too big for me - I prefer the New Wayfarer size and style.

These on Overstock looked vaguely similar. Does anyone have any good leads for a similar shape?

I bought a pair of what I thought were very similar new wayfarers at a Walgreens for $15. I really like them. I thought I lost them so I bought the real deals. After wearing them for a while I found the drug store knock offs laying around. I compared the two. They are EXACTLY the same. Try Walgreens, CVS, something like that.

I compared the Kirklands to my New Wayfarers and found the Kirklands are not as flat at the base of the lenses/frames as the RBs New Wayfarers. I think it's that flatness that contributes to the straight lines the New Wayfarers have- which in my small squarish shaped head and face the 52mm New wayfarers tends to look better than the rounder version of the original Wayfarers.

I'm interested in looking at the drugstore versions- as a just-in-case replacement version.

Absolutely not. There is no comparison in quality and styling between this thing you call drugstore brand and authentic RayBans.

    Morgan-

Quality? Ok, I'll give you that one sure. I've worn them both about the same and they are both holding up well. The lens in the RBs are better by far. But the 2 are visually IDENTICAL.

Check amazon from time to time, when they have a coupon code you can get actual wayfarers dirt cheap. $54 for my last pair.
