I ride a motorcycle to work everyday and am looking for something that looks provide ankle support/protection and also looks good. The current motorcyle specific boots are either too frankenstein-ish or looks like I am from the future.

The boots needed to be under $200 and could be resoled. Here are my options

The J Crew boots are under $200 with the 30% discount currently being offered. I know some of you are fans of these boots http://www.amazon.com/Chippewa-Mens-.../dp/B0036VN958 but they seem to plain to me.

Opionions regarding versatility, impressions if you are an owner of either shoe, overall pros and cons you see that I might not of are welcome.
