Sunday Challenge - 12/13/15 - Green with Envy

I've always been really bad at incorporating any sort of greens or olives into my outfits. Let's see if you guys can teach me a thing or two.

Bonus points for mixing green AND red for that Christmas Outfit!

    The usual details:

•Entries recorded Sunday night, voting begins then or Monday morning
    •Winner declared on Tuesday/Wednesday
•Winner is responsible for next week's theme

    How about all-green?

    1. Green merino v-neck (UNIQLO)
    2. Green gingham shirt (J. Crew)
    3. Green tie (Nordstrom)
    4. Green chinos (L L Bean)
    5. Green Neumoks (Allen Edmonds)

Although now that I think of it, the green gingham shirt is at my house, not the apartment I'm living in at the moment.

    @evanparker Nice shoes!
@srlclark if you incorporate all green, that would be awesome!

The orchestra I play with has been encouraged to wear "holiday flair" for our concert this weekend. I was thinking of wearing a green tie with my tux (notch lapels, so I'm not super concerned about the formality incongruity). Maybe a burgundy strap on my watch. I don't know, we'll see.

I like green - I think it looks good on me (must be all the Irish in me) and that it's just a cool and underused color altogether. In any event, here's my entry:

    Jacket: LBM 1911
    Pants: Bonobos
    Shirt: Uniqlo
    Sweater: BR
    Shoes: Alden
    Pocket square: The Tie Bar

Sorry to ask a personal, non-fashion related question on this site, but curiosity's gotten the better of me. What instrument do you play? Are you a career musician? I've always been jealous of classically trained musicians. I gigged for a few years playing ukulele and singing for small parties and corporate events, but I taught myself how to play so I wasn't ever that great.

@Shomas -- Solid outfit. I'm loving the pattern on the coat with the more vibrant green underneath.
