I didn't even catch that part about the lab tests. Probably a good call though - you might even be able to work that in on your website once you get the [presumably favorable] results back.

I'm sorry, but if we've reached the point where you have to prove your suits are 100% wool anyway, doesn't that mean as a company that you've already won? 1) You're big enough that folks actually care and 2) you deliver a good enough product at such a good price that folks assume you must be doing something deceptive.
I've got 2 CG suits and probably 4 pairs of slacks (mixed between endurance and the 100% wool stuff). The suit fabric is on par or better (the gray plaid is better) than two super 120s 100% wool Joseph Abboud suits I picked up from Men's Wearhouse in 2013. The slacks are great, but you can definitely tell the non 100% endurance from the full wool stuff, so it would be pretty obvious if all their products were not 100%.
Great response back. Any apprehensions I had regarding transparency are gone. Definitely impressed. Now if only you guys would start stocking 44S.
@vishaalmelwani -- thanks for the in-depth reply. You guys usually set a solid example of community engagement done right. I have some comments about the video you posted, but I feel like this topic's been talked to death for the time being, so I'm just going to hold off until I receive the results of a lab test that a Redditor at a university textile lab has volunteered to help me with. I'll be posting the results of the test on the main Combatant Gentlemen thread on Dappered (because I'm sure that qualifies as general interest for anybody following the brand thread), as well as in the appropriate place on Reddit (will be looking to the mods there for guidance on that).
That being said, I apologize if things got heated or out of hand in the past few hours. I admit that I got emotional, but I also feel that I had some valid points that were being unfairly dismissed. Nonetheless, civil and respectful discussion is always the best form of communication, so I'm glad what was largely a one-way affair is now more of a dialog.
Absurd that the CEO of a company had to perform this test to placate a mob of keyboard warriors. You can tell from the video that Vishaal is pretty damn tired and doesn't have the time for this crap.
The manner in which these Redditors dissected Vishaal's posts creates a terrible incentive for new companies to be active product advocates.
I've had my issues with CG as well (namely some order issues last Christmas), but the customer service has been great, so long as you're willing to raise your hand and speak up. Looking forward to my latest order (which I placed last week).
For an upcoming bit of experimental verification...
