    Sunday Challenge- 1/18/15-Dressing (Fashionably) Warm

As a New England resident, I've been experiencing my fair share of freezing winter weather. So this week's challenge is all about keeping warm and looking good doing it. Layers, peacoats, shearling, Wool, Flannel, etc- It's up to you! So long as you would feel comfortable wearing it in cold temps. Hopefully that's not too vague.

    Good luck!

    Standard rules:

    - Challenge proposed on Tuesday or early Wednesday
    - Rules solidified throughout the week
    - On Sunday or before, all participants dress according to challenge guidelines
    - Entries recorded Sunday night, voting begins
    - Winner declared on Tuesday evening
    - Winner is responsible for next week's theme

This ought to be a good one. Lots of room for interpretation on this one and it works for casual or more formal styles. Looking forward to lots of entries (/hint).

I'm a little bit tempted to deliberately bomb this one... but of course, temps here have been in the 20s-30s for the past couple weeks so I haven't needed to pull out the big guns in a little while.

This one strikes me as a little tricky for the southerners, simply because our version of cold weather wear tends to look like fall stuff to the northerners.

Am I going to be out of bounds dressing for something as warm as 45F?

I would dress to keep warm with an outside temp of 45deg, so no you wouldn't be out of bounds. My feeling is that by dressing for 45 deg you are at a bit of a disadvantage. Prove me wrong!
