as of today i'm on a self-imposed spending freeze for the foreseeable future. I probably spent $700 in the last month alone. I did make an Ashland Leather purchase 3 days ago which I hope I didn't get screwed on. definitely add me to the list. i'm going to have to try really really hard not to buy anything, even if it's a great deal.

Definitely share your thoughts and support about not spending, but to be fair to the people that started from the beginning and the integrity of the list, I can't add your name. It started the 1st and the month is almost over.

I'm out. Target is closing up shops in Canada, so I wanted to grab a couple more of there Mossimo t-shirts before they shut down and leave me without a go-to basic. Worth the purchase for me, but I'm planning on keeping the challenge going for myself even if there would be an asterisk at the end of the 90 days.

This is getting harder and harder. 24" of snow coming will keep me busy and hopefully keep away the itch to buy something. A nice parka is a must for next year.

April would be a good time to pick one up cheap. Like April 1st.

I'm curious to know when more 32-34 waist pants will be in on your suits. I'm so close to pulling the trigger on a charcoal or navy but neither jacket nor pants are in my sizes when I check.

It's almost the February, and looking at my credit card statement I'm thinking, wait, it can be this low at the end of the month? After Saturday, 4 weeks til March, and then the home stretch. So far so good. Definitely have cut back on sales searching, and style forum involvement.

If you want to save some bucks this is usually an easy thing to thrift. People in cold places tend to upgrade parkas all of the time as the technology is moving pretty fast - I ski in a Nordica ski jacket I picked up for $20 at Value Village. As it is only used on really bad days I don't worry as much about style as a do with my main winter jacket.
